Dr. Rajeev Malhotra, MD
Board Certified General and Geriatric Psychiatrist

Dr. Malhotra completed his Psychiatry Residency Program in 1999. He completed his Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship from Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic at University of Pittsburgh, PA in 2004-2005. He had been working in Pennsylvania until he joined Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling in July 2007. Dr. Malhotra became Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry in 2001 and Geriatric Psychiatry in 2006. Though he treats mood disorder and psychotic disorder in adults, he has special interest in diagnosing and management of all kinds of dementia (memory programs), and Psychiatric issues in the Geriatric population.



Dr. Petrit Ndrio, M.D
Dr. Ndrio is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist.

Dr Ndrio joined the Conventions Psychiatry in September 2008 after completing his fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry in Chicago, at Children's Memorial/Northwestern University. Dr. Ndrio's adult psychiatry residency training was at Rosalind Franklin University/Chicago Medical school, where he received the Distinguished Service Award as Chief Resident. During his training Dr. Ndrio has given numerous presentations in a wide variety of topics. Dr. Ndrio has a wide range of clinical interests including ADHD, mood, and anxiety disorders. In addition, (as the director for the child and adolescent psychiatry services for Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling) his specialty interests include psychiatric education and training.



Michael Cortina, MS, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience working with adolescent teens and their respective families, as well as young adults.  Mike holds a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Mike has conducted numerous parent education classes and professional seminars on topics such as substance abuse, behavioral management and parenting.  He is known for his interactive style and dynamic approach to complicated and sensitive issues. 





Dr. Michael Gugliemo, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a national certified counselor with over thirteen years of experience in the mental health field.  He holds a doctorate in psychology and a Masters in Human Services/Counseling.  He is known for his engaging personal style and holistic approach to therapy.  Dr. Guglielmo also has specialized training in substance abuse and domestic violence.  In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Guglielmo is also on staff at a local university as an adjunct instructor teaching graduate courses in counseling.

Jill Early , LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. Ms. Early holds a Masters Degree in Social Work and has extensive training and experience in psychiatric crisis intervention and substance abuse treatment.  She also has experience in providing therapeutic services to adults and adolescents with persistent mental illness, personality disorders, and substance abuse treatment needs. She has worked with a variety of therapeutic modes, and is trained specifically in the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, Ms. Early has experience in managing both outpatient substance abuse and mobile crisis intervention programs in a community agency setting.
