Akshatha Shetty earned her medical degree at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India, completed her residency at the University of Toledo, Ohio, and has been certified by the American Board of Psychiatry since 2008.
She joined Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling in April 2016. Dr. Shetty’s areas of professional interest are in women’s mental health and obsessive compulsive disorders. She primarily treats adults between the ages of 18-60 years.
Dr. Shetty’s calm demeanor and professionalism help her patients to feel comfortable and confident in their course of treatment with her.
