Erin graduated with her Masters degree in Social Work from Aurora University in 2012.
Erin began her career in child welfare and in forensic social work. She joined Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling in October 2018.
Erin has extensive experience with severe and persistent mental illness, personality disorders, and trauma. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness-based treatment interventions. She has designed group programming, transitional services and provided crisis stabilization on an inpatient unit at Amita Health/Presence Mercy Medical Center.
Erin strives to empower her patients to live healthier lives with her non-judgmental, compassionate approach throughout all of life’s stages.
Erin grew up in Oswego, IL. She enjoys photography, travel, gardening and spending time with her dog. Her favorite quote is, “No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” ~ Buddha
