Dr. Mahmood has been certified by the American Board of Psychiatry since 2008, having earned her medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan and completing her psychiatric internship and residency at Harvard Medical School and University of Chicago, respectively.
Dr. Mahmood has been with Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling since 2010.
Practicing from a Biopsychosocial treatment model, Dr. Mahmood takes the time necessary to learn all facets of her patients’ lives and how these impact their mental health, in order to provide the most optimal course of pharmacological treatment.
Dr. Mahmood enjoys music and painting in her free time.
