Sobia Khan LSW, MSW

Sobia obtained her Masters in Social Work degree at Aurora University.  Sobia began her career working as a group facilitator for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).  She is trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid and has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a private practice setting.  Sobia is passionate about working with those in the BIPOC community and has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional and behavioral issues.  Sobia uses a client-centered approach, psychoeducation and modeling to assist her clients to achieve optimal well-being.  She listens with compassion while helping them to identify and overcome barriers that impede change.  Sobia is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi and is currently accepting new clients.

In her free time, Sobia enjoys walking, cycling, traveling, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
